Anu is a documentary and factual director and producer - working in film, tv, news, and podcast.
Formerly head of short form video at Vice, Anu managed a network of producers across the Asia Pacific region - commissioning editorial video and audio. She cut her teeth as a senior producer at Vice having developed and produced their flagship documentary series, broadcast on SBS VICELAND and SKY VICELAND NZ.
She has since worked with and for Netflix, Spotify, Al Jazeera, Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and Schwartz Media.
Her producing credits include THE STAY INN, RAGE IN THE CAGE and NZ’S SYNTHETIC DRUG EPIDEMIC, her directing credits include AT THE COALFACE, ISLAND QUEENS and FAFSWAG and her development credit includes WHO THE BLOODY HELL ARE WE?
She is currently a part-time documentary development producer at Sweetshop & Green.
